Rescue dogs
Adopt a dog in Queensland
Every dog on this page is in foster care with a registered Australian rescue, most of them around Brisbane and South East Queensland. Enquiries go straight to the rescue, listings are free for them, and Pet Health Hub never charges families a cent.

How adopting works
- 1. Find a dog. Filter by size, age, sex and how far you are willing to travel on the full adoption search.
- 2. Enquire free. Your enquiry goes straight to the rescue coordinator, usually the same person fostering the dog.
- 3. Meet and greet. Most rescues arrange a meet with your household and any resident pets before approving an adoption.
- 4. Bring them home. Adoption fees cover vet work, desexing, microchipping and vaccinations already done in care.
